Proyecto adjudicado a los arquitectos Alfonso Valega Rey, Gonzalo Valega Rey y Luis Gómez Siu, tras resultar ganadores del concurso convocado para el diseño de la tienda Ebel en Boulevard Asia. La propuesta se concibe como un volumen de geometría pura y líneas minimalistas, donde un marco blanco define la fachada acristalada y la madera aporta calidez al conjunto.
Un espejo de agua situado bajo el volumen principal genera la ilusión de que la tienda flota sobre la superficie, acentuando la ligereza visual del cubo arquitectónico. El reflejo de la estructura y la iluminación refuerzan esta sensación, convirtiendo el agua en un elemento esencial de la composición y estableciendo un diálogo entre la arquitectura, la luz y el paisaje.
Description:
The Ebel store was awarded to architects Alfonso Valega Rey, Gonzalo Valega Rey, and Luis Gómez Siu after they won the architectural competition held to select the design for the store at Asia Boulevard. The proposal is conceived as a pure geometric volume with minimalist lines, where a white frame defines the glazed façade and wood introduces warmth to the overall composition.
A reflecting pool beneath the main volume creates the illusion that the store is floating above the water, enhancing the visual lightness of the architectural cube. The reflections of the structure and the interplay of light reinforce this effect, making water an essential element of the composition and establishing a dialogue between architecture, light, and landscape.
